Qld Country title: 1st rookies, Hayden Schneider. 3rd rookies, Michael Von Rappard.

2007 series started mid year with great results straight out of the box, for Rookie Michael Von Rappard.

Using the CA2 Chassis, we achieved a 2nd placing, just seconds behind Liam Sager, at the Whitsunday Title meeting held at the Mackay Track.

Just one week latter Michael traveled to Ipswich, to compete at the Queensland Closed State titles. Again the Kart and Michael performed magnificently finishing a Creditable 8th position without any track knowledge and setup.

Rockhampton Club had their annual Reef & Beef and Central Coast title meetings. And again the chassis proved its worth winning both titles outright for our class.

To finish the year in style, Michael achieved his ultimate goal, taking the Rookie club championship at our local track in Mackay.

If this is things to come Michael can't wait for the 2008 season to kickoff with the first meeting in January.

The FIA1SE chassis was setup for another of the Mackay Club Members, Mark Musket, racing in the Sportsman Heavy class against a huge competitive field, with a great third on the day. Mark with a little more setup time feels that the chassis has great potential.

Using the FIA6SE, Gordon Kelly competing in Leopard Class, achieved a first out win with this chassis, and added to his points tally to takeout the Club Champion for his class.

This year we welcome to the Mach1Kart family, Hayden Schnieder who will compete this year in Rookie Class using the CA2 Chassis. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Hayden to the fold and wish him all the best for the upcoming season.

At present we have Corey James racing Junior National Heavy & Light testing the FIA1SE chassis in Townsville and await his input and setup information which will give us feedback for other drivers and potential customers.

We will update these results as they come to hand.
